Protest – Los Angeles Times

The Michael Brown shooting triggered a myriad of protests across the nation. Protesters united with one another to fight for an end on police brutality, racism and on its corrupt system. It has become so strong that supporters are demanding to end police brutality among countless victims like Michael Brown.

I was asked to attend a protest in south central LA where protesters gathered on 65th Street and Broadway in remembrance of the Ezell Ford and Omar Abrego cases. Ford and Abrego were killed by LAPD officers within days of each other.
